Communications between fans and club

Supporter Liason Operations

With more than 111.000 members and more than 750 registered fan clubs, 1. FC Köln is one of Germany's largest clubs in terms of members.

The Supporter Liason Operations at 1. FC Köln make up the interface between fans and club, and engage with the wishes and desires of the supporters. The support of physically disabled fans, the founding of a Fan Club or the organisational support at a Fan Club event are just a few examples of the daily work from the Supporter Liason Officers at FC.

  • Inclusion

The Fan Liasion and Support, alongside the regular team on Matchday, provide a support member exclusively for fans with disabilities.

At home games, 1. FC Köln offer fans who are blind and those in a wheelchair the chance to follow the game live in the RheinEnergieSTADION. The FC disability representative offer complete support on Matchday and are there to answer all questions.

Wheelchair users and blind fans are seated in the blocks O2-O7 on Matchdays at the RheinEnergieSTADION.

All information to ticket purchase for wheelchair users and blind fans can be found here. (German)

    Things to be aware of:

    • Please make your interest known that you would like to attend a game when tickets go onsale through the online platform, Eventbrite.
    • The order must be received two weeks before the Matchday.
    • Tickets will go primarily to our members.
    • All orders from members will be handled equally. The date and time of which the order was made is no criteria when it comes to handing out the tickets.
    • If the number of orders exceeds the number of seats available, then a draw will be made to decide who receives a ticket to the game.
    • A reply as to whether or not the order was successful will come around two weeks before the game.
    • Orders from non-members will first be dealt with after those from our own members.
    • The orders from away fan will go through the respective away club on that Matchday.

Fans who have difficulties in climbing stairs or are unable to be exposed to high loads, are welcome to send their ticket requests by email. The Fan Liason and Support will then find a seat which is easily reached by foot.

For away games, the Fan Project "fans1991" do their best to ensure that as many disabled fans as possible are able to find their way to away fixtures and give FC their full support.

For further questions in regards to home games, fans can contact the Fan Liason and Support through service(at)fc-koeln.de. For any questions that pertain to away games and tickets, our colleagues at  fans1991 are there to help at the following email: info(at)fans1991.de
