FC sign Sehrou Guirassy

The transfer of Sehrou Guirassy from French side OSC Lille to 1. FC Köln has been finalized. The striker has signed a five-year contract with FC until June 30th, 2021.

Sehrou Guirassy joined OSC Lille in the summer of 2015 from Stade Laval. In the first half of the 2015/16 season he featured in 13 matches and scored one goal. In the second half of the season the physically powerful striker was loaned out to AJ Auxerre in the French second division, where he totaled 8 goals in 16 matches.

“Sehrou Guirassy is a direct forward with an eye for goal and a clinical finish. Guirassy is a central striker, but he can also play on the wings. His appearances for the youth sides of the French national team are proof that he has been well trained. "We want to develop this young player." - Peter Stöger We believe in his potential,” said FC Head Coach Peter Stöger.

The FC scouting department has monitored Guirassy for some time. Most recently he put on some strong performances in May of 2016 for the French U20 side – he sored 3 goals at an international tournament in Toulon. 

1. FC Köln has taken the necessary medical steps to complete the signing of Sehrou Guirassy.
