1. FC Köln’s new Managing Director, Markus Rejek, will begin work at Geißbockheim on 1st November 2022. What the Board surrounding President Dr. Werner Wolf spoke about at the previous member discussion has been confirmed by the trio a day before the member’s meeting. “We had hoped that Markus Rejek would be able to begin work before December and we can now confirm that. We are pleased that he will complete our Managing Directors trio on 1st November,” said FC President, Dr. Werner Wolf.
Markus Rejek, who was given his official goodbye at Arminia Bielefeld over the weekend, is also looking forward to getting started quickly at FC: “I can’t wait. I have already been integrated into a few important topics and will push that on in the coming weeks. From November on, I will then take over all the details within by area. I am really looking forward to working together with the Board of Directors, my Managing Director colleagues and the entire team at Geißbockheim,” said Markus Rejek, who is currently organising his move to Köln.

The 54-year-old took on the role of Managing Director at Arminia Bielefeld in Oktober 2017 and will join together with Christian Keller and Philipp Türoff to complete FC’s Managing Director trio on 1st November.
