Important information

No away fans in Kiel

The play-off second leg between 1. FC Köln and Holstein Kiel on Saturday evening (kick-off, 18:00 CEST) will take place in front of fans. However, visiting fans are not permitted due to the pandemic. FC supporters who make their way to Kiel must adhere to the following information.

For 1. FC Köln, Saturday evening is about turning around the 1:0 deficit from the first leg against Holstein Kiel. While FC had to do without fans on Wednesday evening at the RheinEnergieSTADION, 2350 fans will be allowed into the Holstein-Stadion on Saturday. However, due to the pandemic, only home fans will be allowed into the ground. This decision was taken by the State of Schleswig-Holstein, along with the City of Kiel Police and those responsible at Holstein Kiel.

FC fans who plan to travel to Kiel will not be allowed within 200 metres of the stadium. A security ring will be in place around the ground on Saturday 29th May, in which only Kiel fans will be given entry.

Before entering the ring, the Kiel Police and stewards will control and check all fans. Along with that, there is an alcohol ban and masks must be worn. Glass bottles, fireworks and pyrotechnics are no allowed.
