Out for the season with torn knee ligament

Successful operation for Christian Clemens

FC player, Christian Clemens suffered a severe knee injury in the home game against SV Darmstadt 98. He underwent an MRI scan on the same evening. On Monday, he was successfully operated on in the MediaPark Klinik.

Bitter news for Christian Clemens. The FC winger returned to team training over the past weeks after muscular problems and was in the starting eleven again against Darmstadt. However, after 32 minutes, the 27-year-old had to be brought off due to a knee injury. He was supported into the dressing room by team doctor, Dr. Peter Schäferhoff and the physios.

With the MRI scan came the confirmation of a torn knee ligament. On Monday, Chrille was successfully operated on by Dr. Peter Schäferhoff at the MediaPark Klinik.
