Get your Kölsch and Bratwurst even quicker!
Kölsch and Bratwurst are an essential part of almost every visit to the stadion, yet the waiting times are often too long and fans have to choose between watching the game or getting refreshments. In order to help solve this problem, 1. FC Köln are working together with Start-up SonoBeacon on technology that shows which Gate, Kiosk or which toilet has the shortest queue. The number of people in certain areas of the stadium will be measured and shown to FC fans on their smartphones. FC tested this technology for the first time against Arminia Bielefeld.

FC training from the player perspective
How would it be to not just watch FC training from the touchline but from the perspective of your favourite player. The way to training, autographs for the fans, messing about with team-mates and training on the pitch - the best way to experience FC training. 1. FC Köln tested the camera technology for Der 1.

Experience an FC goal from Modeste's perspective
„Tooor für den 1. FC Köln“, bellows FC stadium announcer Michael Trippel through the RheinEnergieSTADION when our number 27 finds the back of the net. The TV replays show many different angles but how good would it be to see the action through the eyes of your favourite FC player?
The start-up, SponixTech are currently working on such a solution. With their software it is possible to recreate the perspective from FC players. For example, as Anthony Modeste goes through on goal or before Marvin Schwäbe makes a stunning save. In the future, it will be possible to have perspectives that no-one else has during FC games.
Now we want hear your opinion! We want to know what perspective is the most interesting for you, what we can do better and what you'd like to see in the future.
