Anthony Modeste grabbed his first goal of the season for FC to secure progression to the next round of the DFB-Pokal. The Frenchman’s last Bundesliga goal came against Augsburg at the back end of last season, with his stunning volley helping to secure a point away from home.

Sava-Arangel Cestic has enjoyed an impressive start to life in the Bundesliga and leads the Bundesliga in clearances per game. Cestic has averaged 5.5 clearances in his four appearances thus far.
Ismail Jakobs has averaged 41 sprints per game this season. Only Sven Schipplock (46) and Tanguy Coulibaly (43) can top the FC winger.
Saturday’s game will see two of the league’s best goalkeepers go head-to-head at the weekend. Rafal Gikiewicz and Timo Horn are both in the top five shot-stoppers for save percentage this season. The Pole is second (72%) behind Peter Gulacsi, with Timo Horn joint-fifth on 68%.
Two of the Bundesliga’s sides with the least possession go head to head at the weekend. FC have averaged 42.3% possession this season, with Augsburg just ahead on 44%.
