1. FC Köln and kit supplier, adidas have paid tribute to a well-loved design that unites generations of players and fans with the 2026/27 away jersey. The red jersey with white pinstripes, the stitched Trefoil Logo on the right-side of the chest and the retro FC crest on the left. The jersey premiered 45 years ago.
When the global brand from Herzogenaurach first kitted out FC, World and European champion, Bernd Cullmann wore it during the 1981/82 season – for many FC fans of the older-generation, a fond memory of a time when the FC were amongst the top teams in the Bundesliga. His son, Carsten Cullmann, played in a reissue of the jersey design in the mid-2000s during the second adidas era. It was worn in the two following seasons, and has a place in the FC jersey history with the younger FC supporters as the away kit for the promotion season under Christoph Daum in 2007/08.

The 1. FC Köln away jersey for the 2026/27 season is now available in selected adidas stores, with a red and white collar and sleeves and the white adidas stripes on the shoulders. It is also available on adidas.de, official FC fanshops, selected partners and online on fc.de. The jersey also has the option of a name and number in the retro look as it was then. The adult version of the away jersey costs 99,95€ (89,96€ for members) and 74,95€ (67,46€ for members) for kids.

Along with the 2026/27 away jersey, FC have also launched an Originals collection that also leans into the retro look. A Pre-Game Shirt, Pre-Game Top, Training Jacket and Trousers, Long-Sleeve Shirt, Hoodie, T-Shirt as well as adidas Samba shoes.
