The FC fans have had their say. Linton Maina was voted as Man of the Match after the away game against FC Schalke 04 on Sunday. Maina was, once again, a key figure in attack and scored the second goal of the game, just before the break. "You can see that we're creating more and more chances, but using them as well. We'll be able to build on that," said Maina.
FC have now won three games in a row and that winning feeling is important. "Last season we didn't win a lot. That's why it's important for the head to know that we can win at home and win away, that we can win and win well," explained Maina. "Now we have to work hard in the international break, because it won't get any easier afterwards."
Maina was also pleased for Damion Downs, who scored his first goal of the season. "It's important for him and the team. He's worked hard for his chances."
