The FC home-grown talent has been part of Gerhard Struber's extended professional squad since this season. Born in Bergheim, the midfielder joined FC from SC West Köln in 2019 and has since progressed through the FC youth teams. Harchaoui has both German and Moroccan citizenship. Before becoming European and then world champion with the German U17 national team in 2023, he played one match for the Moroccan U17 national team.
