FC and Nikola Soldo go their separate ways

“Nikola came to us with the desire to terminate his contract. Due to the fact that he has always conducted himself very well during his difficult sporting situation, we agreed to make that possible in order to continue his career in another direction. We thank Nikola for his efforts and wish him all the best for the future,” said Thomas Kessler, Head of Football.

Nikola Soldo joined 1. FC Köln at the beginning of September 2022. In total, he made 11 first-team appearances. He spent the past season on loan at 1. FC Kaiserslautern (17 games), before he returned to Köln in the summer. Since then, he featured three times in the Regionalliga West.
