Chilohem Onuoha has left 1. FC Köln. The forward has joined Liga Portugal side, CF Estrela Amadora.
“Chilo’s second loan to SC Verl didn’t go as planned, from our perspective and from that of the player. After he only got limited game-time, we held transparent discussions about his perspective. There, we decided to cut the loan short. At the same time, the opportunity to move to the Liga Portugal arose for Chilo. He has the chance to continue his development at a high-level, which isn’t the case for him here. Therefore, we agreed to the transfer as the conditions fit well for us, too. We wish Chilo all the best for the future,” said Lukas Berg, 1. FC Köln Technical Director.
Chilohelm Onuoha was born on 7th May 2005 in Berlin. From Füchse Berlin, he made the move to Hertha BSC’s academy and their under-15 side. After his time at Hertha, Onuoha spent two years with RB Leipzig’s under-19s before joining 1. FC Köln. He spent his time at FC on loan at SC Verl, registering six goals and five assists in 33 games.
