1. FC Köln's opponent for the first competitive fixture of the season has been confirmed. The draw for the first round of the DFB-Pokal has seen FC drawn to face Würzburger Kickers away from home.
The draw took place on Saturday evening at the German Football Museum in Dortmund, where recently retired referee Deniz Aytekin drew the teams from the pot. The first round ties will take place between 21st and 24th August. Dates and times will be confirmed in due course.
