Imad Rondić leaves on loan

9/2/2025

1. FC Köln have loaned out Imad Rondić until the end of the season. The striker has moved back to Poland and will play for Raków Częstochowa in the upcoming campaign.

“Pre-season showed that Imad would have a tough time getting regular minutes due to the competition for places up front. Therefore, we looked for a solution together with him and are played that the loan to Raków Czestochowa came to fruition. There, he will have the opportunity to prove himself on the continental stage. We wish him all the best for the challenge ahead,” said FC Sporting Director, Thomas Kessler.

“I want to thank our fans for the unbelievable support so far. From the very start, it was an honour for me to play for FC and I enjoyed every moment. Obviously, I would have wished for the summer to go in a different direction but that’s how football is. I hope FC have a great season. See you soon,” said Imad Rondić.

Imad Rondić arrived at 1. FC Köln at the start of February from Widzew Łódź and signed a deal until 2029. In the second-half of the 2024-25 season, the forward made nine appearances in the 2. Bundesliga, scoring once, and featured once in the DFB-Pokal.
