1. FC Köln have loaned out Rasmus Carstensen again. The right-back will move to Denmark and spend the coming season on loan at Aarhus GF. The Danish side have secured an option to buy the 24-year-old.
“Rasmus expressed the desire to return to his home country. We were able to make that wish a reality because the loan to Aarhus offers up a good solution to all parties. We wish Rasmus all the best for the coming season,” said Sporting Director, Thomas Kessler.
Carstensen was loaned out for the second-half of the 2024-25 season to Lech Poznan. In the Ekstraklasa, the Dane made 15 appearances and helped his side to the Polish championship. He has been with FC since 2023 and has made 23 Bundesliga appearances, with three 2. Bundesliga games as well.
