The striker moved from TSG Hoffenheim to the FC women for the 2024/25 season. Leimenstoll was born in Karlsruhe on 1 March 2001 and played for the juniors of FV Sportfreunde Forchheim and the juniors of Karlsruher SC until 2017. She then moved to TSG Hoffenheim's U17s and made the leap into the second division squad in the 2019/20 season. In 2021, the striker became the top scorer in the 2nd Bundesliga South with 14 goals and celebrated her debut in Germany's top division on 5 September - in an away match against 1. FC Köln. She made six appearances for TSG's first team in the Champions League, including matches against FC Arsenal and FC Barcelona.
