1. FC Köln will welcome Holstein Kiel to the RheinEnergieSTADION in the second round of the DFB-Pokal. The draw was made on Sunday evening at the German Football Museum in Dortmund. The ties will be played in the final week of October, with the final dates and times to be confirmed.
FC head coach, Gerhard Struber gave his thoughts on the draw: "We're really pleased we've got a home game, in front of our Gans We are playing against a really difficult opponent and it will be a big task. Our goal is still to progress into the next round."
