Lena Uebach was born on 31st July 2000 in Kirchen (Sieg). She started playing football at the age of six with SV Fortuna Freundenberg and spent 10 years at the club before joining Sportfreunde Siegen. She scored 11 goals in 16 games in her time there, enough to spark the interest of Bayer Leverkusen in summer 2017. Uebach helped Leverkusen to promotion to the Bundesliga and scored 14 goals in 58 games before joining Turbine Potsdam in 2020.
Injury problems meant that she never got the chance to show her worth on the pitch at Potsdam. After two years, she returned to NRW and joined 1. FC Köln. The winger signed a one-year deal before extending her stay for a further season.
Uebach scored nine goals in 37 games for the German youth teams, was crowned 2017 under-17 European Champion and was runner-up with the under-19 side in the following two seasons.
