FC sign Mansour Ouro-Tagba

1. FC Köln have signed striker Mansour Ouro-Tagba from TSV 1860 München on a long-term contract. The 19-year-old, who made his debut for Togo in March 2024, will be loaned out to 2. Bundesliga side, SSV Jahn Regensburg for the 2024-25 season.

FC Managing Director, Christian Keller said: “Mansour has many promising aspects to his game and, for his young age, already has the athletic ability to make a lasting impact in professional football. The loan to Regensburg is exactly the right step for his development. We will support him closely during his loan before he takes the next step in his career with us from summer 2025.”

Mansour Ouro-Tagba said: “I'm very happy to have signed for such a big club. The loan to Regensburg also gives me the opportunity to prove myself at the next level. The year at Jahn is an excellent opportunity for me to develop both personally and as a footballer before I concentrate fully on what is to come at FC from next summer.”

Mansour Ouro-Tagba was born in New York on 17th December 2004. Since 2013, he has been part of the 1860 academy. In the 2022-23 season, he scored eight goals in the A-Junioren-Bundesliga and made his senior debut in May 2023 against Saarbrücken in the 3. Liga. In the past season, he made 18 appearances for 1860’s reserves (three goals, four assists) and featured 19 times for the first-team. Despite being mainly used as a substitute, he’s manged to score three goals.
