She was one of the faces of the Bundesliga for over a decade and we are really pleased that she’s decided to return to Germany. She is a strong character and a leader; she will lead from the front and do our team and development good.”

Laura Feiersinger said: “For me, when moving clubs, it is always important to see what sort of a feeling the new club gives me. From the very start, I had a great feeling here. FC is a family-club and I won my first title in 2012 with the DFB-Pokal here in Köln. For that reason, Köln has always been a special place for me. With the games in the RheinEnergieSTADION, I was able to feel what sort of euphoria there is here. I am really looking forward to playing for FC and in the Bundesliga after my time in Italy, where I developed especially as a person.”
