1. FC Köln are expanding their digital portfolio and are launching a new part of the brand for the new year in WE:FC that is targeted at young people. WE:FC will focus on the topics of eSports, gaming, lifestyle, fashion and entertainment around 1. FC Köln to bring them under one roof.
The areas of eSports, gaming, lifestyle, fashion and entertainment are gaining more and more importance in professional football. WE:FC is a new offering from 1. FC Köln for a community, which want to combine these topics and their passion for football and FC.
Up until now, 1. FC Köln’s eSport activities have taken place under the name of 1. FC Köln eSports. With the relaunch to WE:FC, the club is expanding their offering. Along with the eSports team, which will continue to play in the Virtual Bundesliga, WE:FC is the digital hub for the young FC community.
Planned are formats specific to the channel, as well as lifestyle collection, a WE:FC studio at SK Gaming and events around gaming, music and lifestyle. WE:FC is focused on the younger FC fans and reaching them over new methods.
The relaunch will take place in the New Year. On 1st January 2024, all eSports activities will take place under WE:FC.
