Anthony Racioppi was born on 31 December 1998 in Geneva, Switzerland. The 1.89 metre tall goalkeeper, who will wear the number 26 at FC, was trained in the youth academy of Olympique Lyon. After taking his first steps in professional football with the French first division club, he moved to league rivals FCO Dijon in 2020. In his first season for Dijon, Racioppi made 23 appearances between the posts in Ligue 1. He returned to his home country in January 2022. He became Swiss champion with Young Boys Bern in 2023 (19 appearances) and qualified for the UEFA Champions League together with his team-mates (five appearances). He also recommended himself for the Swiss senior national team, for which he was nominated for the first time in 2023. In the summer of 2024, Racioppi moved to Hull City in the English Championship, where he has made one appearance since the start of the season.
