The son of a Greek father and Brazilian mother took his first footballing steps with Niki Volos FC. In 2012, he moved to Atromitos Athens and, in the following season, trained with the first team. In Oktober 2014, he made his debut at the age of 16 and moved to PAOK in summer 2017.
At PAOK, Limnios won the Greek Cup in his first year and the following campaign saw them won the League and Cup double without a single defeat. He made his way through the youth ranks of the Greece national team before making his debut for the senior side in March 2018. He joined FC in 2020 and spent the 2021-22 season on loan at FC Twente before suffering a serious knee injury.
