Gerhard Struber

Gerhard Struber is the new head coach of the FC professionals. The 47-year-old Austrian, who holds a UEFA Pro licence, most recently worked for first division club RB Salzburg and reached the UEFA Champions League group stage with the club. Prior to that, he was on the touchline at RB New York in the American professional league MLS and gained his first professional experience at FC Barnsley (England) and Wolfsberger AC (Austria). Struber spent his playing career in Austria, ending it in 2008.
Struber feels at home at the Geißbockheim. He likes to go jogging in his lunch break and is sometimes joined by his co-trainer Thomas Hickelsberger.
