The centre-forward, who was born in Slovenia in 2005, will make his first appearance in FC's professional squad in the 2024/25 season. Potocnk moved from Slovenian club NK Olympija to the cathedral city in 2022. In the 2022/23 season, he played 16 times for FC's U19s, scoring 15 goals. In the following season, in addition to the U19s, he also played for FC's U21s, where he scored 14 goals and set up four goals in 28 games across all teams. Potocnk has played for the Slovenian national U-team since the U16s and has scored 19 times and set up one goal in 40 games.
