The Croatian, who was born in Stuttgart in 2001, joined FC Köln from Lokomotiva Zagreb in 2022 and made a total of eleven appearances for FC in his debut season in 2022/23. The centre-back was loaned out to second-division club 1. FC Kaiserslautern for the following season. He returned to FC for the 2024/25 season. Soldo played ten times for the Croatian U21 national team and made three appearances each for the U18 and U19 teams.
