Jacob Christensen's first club was close to home and was AB Gladsaxe. At the age of 12, he made the leap to FC Nordsjælland and their youth academy. He worked his way through the ranks and made the leap into the first-team, making his debut at the age of 17. In summer 2023, he joined 1. FC Köln on a free transfer.
In his free time, he likes to visit restaurants and play Padel. He is a big fan of the red away kit, as it reminds him of the Denmark kit.
