Born in Cologne in 2002, the midfielder has been with FC since 2009 and made his professional debut in the DFB Cup in the 2021/22 season. He previously became German champion with the U17s and played twice for FC in the Youth League. In the 2022/23 season, Obuz was loaned out to the Zeitliga club Holstein Kiel. In the following season, he was loaned out again to third-division club Rot-Weiß Essen, where he made a total of 34 appearances in the league. The 182cm tall striker also played for various German national teams.
