Steffen Tigges started playing football at TuS Glane. In 2011, Tigges joined VfL Osnabrück and spent eight years at the Bremer Brücke. At the age of 17 in December 2015, he made his 3. Liga debut. In 2019, he made the move to Borussia Dortmund and in 2020-21, he helped the under-23s to get promoted to 3. Liga from the Regionalliga West. He also made his debut for the first-team, making 23 appearances overall for BVB.
In July 2022, he joined FC from Borussia Dortmund. The striker enjoys playing padel and basketball as well as following the NFL. The Osnabrück born forward is also a big fan of coffee.
