Thomas Kessler

The former FC player has been sporting director of the professional players' department at 1. FC Köln since June 2021. As a player, the Cologne native made 33 appearances for the professionals in 18 years and played 95 times for various FC youth teams. Kessler ended his playing career in 2020, during which he was also under contract with FC St. Pauli and Eintracht Frankfurt. The goalkeeper was twice German second division champion with FC and played six games for the German national team from U16 to U18.
