Amélie Delabre was born on 26 November 2000 in Collat (Haute-Loire). She started playing football at the age of four at FC Paulhaguet. After playing for US Brioude and AS Saint-Étienne, she moved to FC Metz after graduating from high school.
On 8 September 2018, at the age of 17, she made her debut in the Premiere Ligue, the top French league. Delabre scored her first goal four games later against Paris Saint-Germain.
After five years and 77 games for Metz, Delabre left her home country and moved to RSC Anderlecht. The striker immediately became a regular there and scored 14 goals in 16 Super League games, the most in the entire league. In the final round, she scored another four times for her club, securing Anderlecht's seventh championship in a row. Delabre was also one of three players to be nominated as ‘Player of the Season’ in the Belgian league.
