Anna Gerhardt was born on 17th April 1998 in Würselen close to Aachen and is a true FC youth player. The wing-back with a strong right foot was schooled in the 1. FC Köln academy, making her way through all the youth teams before make the step to the first-team.
After seven years at 1. FC Köln, Gerhardt joined FC Bayern Munich in July 2016. Three years later, she made the move to Turbine Potsdam and spent four years there. Gerhardt has won the 2. Bundesliga, won the silver Fritz-Walter-Medaille in 2016, was Bundesliga runner-up in 2017. 2018 and 2019 and runner-up in the DFB-Pokal in 2018 and 2022. In the 2023-24 season, Anna Gerhardt returned to FC after seven years away.
Anna Gerhardt went through all the German youth teams up until the under-20s. Her brother, Yannick Gerhardt, also went through the FC academy before joining Wolfsburg in 2016.
