Born in Kufstein, Austria, the striker joined the FC women's squad this season from TSG Hoffenheim. She began her football career at her home club SV Angerberg and then moved to the Bundesliga via FC Wacker Innsbruck and FSK St. Pölten to TSG Hoffenheim. During her time at Hoffenheim, the striker scored 84 goals in 175 league games and scored ten goals in 21 cup matches. She also scored four goals in ten Champions League matches. The Austrian international also played 97 games for her country before her move to FC, scoring 46 times in the process. She reached the semi-finals of the European Championships with Austria in 2017.
The goalscorer has already celebrated several successes in her career. During her time at FSK St. Pölten, she finished runner-up and won the ÖFB Cup. Billa has also won individual awards: in 2019 and 2021 she was named Footballer of the Year in Austria, in 2021 Footballer of the Year in Germany, top scorer in the ÖFB Women's Bundesliga in the 2013/14 season and top scorer in the Women's Bundesliga in 2020/21.
In addition to football, she also competed in kickboxing at junior level and became European champion three times and world champion three times.
